Nathen Fox Joins the Nanotech Company as Senior Director

Nanotechnology industry executive formerly with Atomic-Scale Design, Inc.

San Diego, CA December 15, 2004 - The Nanotech Company, a leading small tech advisory firm, announced today that Nathen Fox, a nanotech industry executive, has joined The Nanotech Company as its Senior Director.

Mr. Fox was most recently President and CEO of Atomic-Scale Design, a developer of unique, carbon-based nano-composites, and has held senior positions in several companies over the past 20 years. His broad-based experience in startups and in the commercialization of technology, gives him intimate familiarity with the entrepreneur's perspective; he fully understands the issues facing nanotechnology companies dealing with the development and commercialization of technology having broad appeal. Nathen is a CPA and earned undergraduate and MBA degrees at UCLA.
